The Zippo Classic Lighter brings the iconic flip-top design to everyday carry — a full metal body, a windproof flint wheel flame, and the satisfying click that has defined this style of lighter for decades. Available in Black at Rs. 1,990 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan.
This is a Zippo-style first copy lighter — it uses the same flip-top case, flint wheel ignition, and windproof chimney as an original Zippo, at roughly half the price of an entry-level original. The metal body is solid and heavy enough to feel well-made in the hand, with a hinge that clicks the lid open cleanly and holds it securely when open. It runs on standard lighter fluid (naphtha) — the same fuel as an original Zippo — which means one fill lasts 1–2 weeks of regular use and refilling takes about 30 seconds.
The windproof design works through a chimney structure around the wick that shields the flame from wind, rather than relying on the flame staying lit in open air. This makes it more reliable outdoors than a standard open-flame lighter, for lighting cigarettes, candles, or anything else where a soft flame keeps blowing out. It is the same mechanism used in original Zippos and is the primary reason the flip-top design has remained unchanged since 1932.

Original Zippo vs this Zippo-style lighter
An original Zippo is manufactured in Bradford, Pennsylvania by Zippo Manufacturing Company and comes with a lifetime repair guarantee — if it ever stops working for any mechanical reason, Zippo repairs or replaces it for free. Original Zippos cost Rs. 3,500–8,000 at LuxuryLighters.pk.
This Zippo-style lighter copies the flip-top design, flint wheel ignition, and windproof chimney at a fraction of the price. It does not carry the lifetime guarantee. For most daily-use buyers, the Zippo-style at Rs. 1,990 delivers the same experience. For collectors and serious daily-carry buyers who want the guarantee and the brand, the original is worth the premium. Both options are clearly labelled in our Zippo collection.
How to refill this lighter
Pull the metal insert out from the case, lift the felt pad at the base, and apply lighter fluid directly onto the cotton wadding until it starts to saturate. Replace the felt pad and slide the insert back in. Wait about a minute before lighting. Do not overfill — excess fluid will leak onto your hand when held. One fill typically lasts 1–2 weeks of regular use. Full instructions with photos are on our Lighter Instructions page.
Frequently asked questions
Is this an original Zippo or a Zippo-style lighter?
This is a Zippo-style first copy lighter — it uses the same flip-top design and flint wheel ignition as an original Zippo but is not manufactured by Zippo Manufacturing Company and does not carry their lifetime repair guarantee. Original Zippos are available separately in our Zippo collection from Rs. 3,500.
What fuel does this lighter use?
Standard lighter fluid — naphtha-based, the same as an original Zippo. It does not use butane gas. Lighter fluid is available separately at most hardware stores and we stock it in our lighter collection.
Is it windproof?
Yes — the flip-top lid creates a chimney around the wick that shields the flame from wind, the same mechanism used in original Zippos. It performs well outdoors where open-flame lighters would blow out.
How long does one fill last?
One fill typically lasts 1–2 weeks of regular use. Lighter fluid evaporates from the cotton wadding over time even when unused, so you may need to refill it if it has been sitting unused for a few weeks.
Is this a good gift?
Yes — the flip-top click, the metal weight, and the classic design make it a considered gift. For a more complete gift, see our gift bundles which pair this lighter with a cigarette case at a discounted combined price.
Do you deliver across Pakistan?
